Aspen, CO—November 30, 2011— The WildiZe Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to wildlife conservation, education and sustainable community development in sub-Saharan Africa, now has a slideshow featured on BBC Brazil’s website, which also links to BBC Spanish and BBC Portugal.

The series of photographs were taken by Eli Weiss, the founder of Wildize, during her recent trips to Africa.

Weiss is a graphic artist and wildlife/nature photographer, with a passion for our environment, wildlife and indigenous culture which has been a constant factor in her life. In 1993, she experienced a profound personal connection with the landscape and people of Africa, which eventually lead her to create WildiZe. With the foundation, Weiss is able to combine her love of Photography, Art, Nature, Environmental Ethics and Conservation while benefiting our planet, individuals and educational institutions. WildiZe has allowed Weiss to work with communities toward creating new solutions to the challenges we are all facing in our rapidly changing world.

About WildiZe:

WildiZe Foundation is a Colorado registered 501(c)3 organization dedicated to wildlife conservation, education and sustainable community development in sub-Saharan Africa. Over the last 10 years, WildiZe has supported more than 75 on-the-ground projects in Africa including Tsavo National Park, CARACAL, GAWPT, Communities of the Northern Frontier District (Kenya) and Caprivi Carnivore Project (Lise Hanssen). The foundation directly connects donors with a variety of community and wildlife programs and ensures contributions are used to the optimum advantage. WildiZe is entering its second decade with a revitalized platform and vision to positively affect change in African conservation practices through small investments in the best resources placed in the right hands. Ninety percent of public and private contributions reach grantees, who have ownership, accountability and responsibility of their projects.
