Bishop’s Lodge Donates over $1,700
to Jeff Bridges’ Charity
Tuesday, March 30, 2010, Santa Fe, NMÂ â€“ Bishop’s Lodge Ranch Resort and Spa has generously donated over $1,700 to actor Jeff Bridges’ charity End Hunger Network from a recent auction and raffle. The charity, founded by Bridges in 1983, works with the entertainment industry and other partners to create and support media projects, programs and events to raise awareness and generate action to end U.S. child hunger.
Bishopâ€™s Lodge hosted a “Crazy Heart” reception on Friday, March 26th, auctioning off an O’Farrell custom cowboy hat signed by the actor. A portion of restaurant proceeds were also donated to the End Hunger Network Charity.
Stars from the film attended to support Bishop’s Lodge and the End Hunger Network, including Debriana Mansini who played Ann, Jack Nation, who played Buddy, Jean Craddock’s son in the film, also attended.
Bishop’s Lodge also announced the winner of their “Crazy Heart” raffle, that was held at the DeVargas Theater in Santa Fe. Carolyn Fairman of Santa Fe, won a nightâ€™s stay at the resort, where scenes from the movie “Crazy Heart” were filmed. The package included a complimentary night’s stay in La Villa Pintoresca, the Presidential Suite, dinner for two at Las Fuentes Restaurant & Bar, skeet shooting, two movie passes and a special welcome gift. The entire package is valued at $1,800.00.

The crew spent nine days filming the production at Bishop’s Lodge Ranch, Resort & Spa, a secluded sanctuary nestled on 450 stunning acres in the Tesuque Valley of Northern New Mexico.
