Tell us who is making a difference as a Third Annual “A Cause For Comedy” Los Ang eles (August 18, 2009) – Causecast and Ben Morrison are teaming up with Creative Visions Foundation to put together the 3rd and best ever A Cause for Comedy, and they want YOU to be a part of the show. All you have to do is tell us what you think a Creative Activist is. Do you or someone you know use the arts and media to make a difference in our world? Grab your gas mask, your megaphone and head to your soapbox and tell us what a Creative Activist is. When you’re done with that, login at Causecast.org where you can upload a video, photos, or write a blog post. Make sure you tag it with “C4C” so they can find it. Causecast will make a video mashup that will be shown on stage at A Cause for Comedy on Thursday, August 27th, 7:00 pm at the world-famous Hollywood Improv. Your message will be up there along side some of the biggest comedians, including Ben Morrison (Punk’d, AC4C), Ben Gleib (Chelsea Lately), Erin Foley (Last Comic Standing), Eric Schwartz AKA Smooth-E (YouTube), Hugh Moore (Live at Gotham) and Adam Richmond (Carson Daly), with a live pre-show hosted by Nadine Rajabi (Showtime). So bust out that new iPhone 3GS, camcorder, webcam, picket sign, or even the trusty old pen and paper and let everyone know how you or someone you know is making a difference! Let’s not forget that you can come to the event too! Local Los Angeles residents are encouraged to buy tickets at the Improv website for $15. In addition to the $15 dollar ticket, there is a $100 ticket option, which will include a copy of The Journey Is The Destination signed by CVF founder Kathy Eldon. One hundred percent of the net proceeds from ticket sales go straight to CVF. For those unable to attend the event, Causecast will be live streaming the comedy show via our partners at Stickam and Huffington Post. Show Information:
