Sunday, March 8th
Upon your arrival at the Albuquerque Sunport, you will be picked up and taken to Sandia Resort & Spa, one of Albuquerque’s finest day spas for a welcome reception followed by individual treatments.
Monday, March 9th
After breakfast we will drive south to Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Truth or Consequences was originally known as Hot Springs, NM because the downtown area sits atop a geothermal aquifer. The name later infamously changed in a publicity stunt for the once popular television show, Truth or Consequences. This sleepy old mining town is now a popular destination for its healing hot water bubbling right from the ground, its charming ghost towns and its beautiful desert landscape. We will meet Gina Kelley at the Sierra Grande Lodge and tour the facilities. We will then check in to various lodges, meet different healing arts practitioners for individual treatments, and regroup for dinner at Cafe Bella Luca.
The Spas:
Sierra Grande Lodge & Spa offers New Mexico travel at its finest. The Hotel at Sierra Grande provides a relaxing New Mexico vacation destination with rustic charm and timeless elegance infused into each room. The Spa offers visitors the finest holistic spa treatments designed to melt away stress and tension. The ancient restorative private Hot Springs honor the legendary healing traditions first established by the region’s Native Americans.
