Director of Film and Entertainment, Los Angeles
Cara Morrissey, an east coast native, grew up between her family's homes in Boston and Baltimore. She moved to Los Angeles in 2005 after completing a successful competitive and professional figure skater career both nationally and abroad. Upon arriving in Los Angeles, she began working in the agent-training program at Innovative Artists Talent and Literary Agency with a focus on independent film. In 2006 she became director of development for World Premiere Entertainment where she associate produced the Sundance Film Festival's 2008 competitor, Downloading Nancy. After meeting Sarah Robarts in 2007, Cara found her true calling in the public relations business. She joined Ballantines PR, where she now uses her extensive contacts and unique experiences to provide her clients with worldwide exposure. Cara is currently a director in the Los Angeles office.
Cara received a B.A. in philosophy from Loyola College in Maryland. She also studied international relations at Bond University in Australia, a school known for its strong international student body. Cara currently resides in Beverly Hills.
